I wish good luck to all waiting for their application processing. All I can say is have patience and keep faith, your application will be processed one day. Keep contacting CIC Call Centre (talk to them nicely) / Order GCMS notes / Order CSIS information / Submit Web Form.. this helped me a lot. I would like to thank each one of you and admin who are running this forum and keeping everyone together for updates. Good luck all!
Hi guys. I just gave my fingerprints to a rcmp accredited agent ... the agent took the fp in ink and was the impressions was posted on a piece of paper. He mentioned that this will be scanned and submitted to ircc electronically.
The letter states that fingerprints should not be inked.
Any one else did the fp recently? I am little confused now .. would ircc ask me to submit the fp again???

When I went for my fp, the agent took all fingerprints first electronically i.e. asked to me place hand/fingers on scanning type machine and I saw fingerprints appearing on his laptop. After all electronic fp were done, he then took some fp in actual ink and then he gave me a copy of report with all my fp on it (you need to either destroy or save this very securely as it has all your fp). He then said a report will be directly sent to IRCC..

It's better you go to an agent that does electronic fingerprint capturing; that's what IRCC requires and stated on most letters. The electronic capturing is sent online in real time to RCMP even while you're there and you'll be given confirmation of it instantly.
