Hello! I received my passport request! So almost done with the process
Daily good news! Congrats!!! You will be among the lucky ones to land in spring/summer
!
Please share your timeline/how long it took for you, If possible, so we can roughly have an estimate for our friends
Congrats again ^_^
Thank you very much. I am inland from India, have been living here for the past 11 years.
Congrats man. Am happy for you.
Did you communicate cic after you've passed 20 months? If yes, what kind of reply did you get?
I think because they do not have your file in hand or due to security measures, they can’t go in details without proper identification. I work in such an environment and customer’s data protection is a mandatory. Through web form, you provide details only known to you for identification. I doubt they will keep you pending for long unless your background check is still in processing on GC key? If not, if medical and background checks are all cleared, decision made should not be longer than a maximum of 2 months.
Hmmmmm.. Last time I called them they confirmed that the security was cleared and background was to be started and thats like 1.5 months ago. Probably will wait until Friday and try to talk to an agent over the phone to see if he/she has more info to provide. Next tuesday is the deadline for "Estimated" completion of my file... Fingers Crossed :|

Hi!
I see many people requesting GCMS notes? What is that for? Is it recommended to ask for them? Do you need to be a PR or citizen to ask for them or can you ask for your own notes if you're the principal applicant?
Thanks

Congratulations buddy. May I know when you applied for csq? Initial application date?

GCMS notes have details about your application. Usually they are used if your application is rejected.
For me, it helped me control my anxiety because I could see that I have criminality and eligibility already passed.
If you are not in Canada you will have to pay a $5 fee. To ask for the notes see this post:

Congratulations and wish you a great life in Canada!

Thank you. Since I applied through a lawyer my communication was mainly through my local MP. IRCC told them that they were awaiting an additional document and that was the reason for taking more than 20 months. Therefore, I believe that most of the applicants should receive their DM within 20 month processing time.
Hope that helps. Thank you.

Congratulations and all the best..
Wow! Great, it is nice to find friends who share the same timeline, and, you are right, I guess this long waiting time is a good test for our patience lol. Let's just live and wait. I will also update later when I receive the electronic notes from CIC. Good luck!
Hello,
Have you got your notes? Whats the update in your application. Thank you.
Hello friends
I was reading on Arima in vain. Anyone knows the implication on us? I mean if bill 9 is adopted, will our applications be cancelled? Those who have status “application received” or “in process” might be affected?
