If you're really confident enough that your Writing part was good and yet got only 6.5, then please apply for EoR. Please note that you can't apply after 6 weeks from your test result date. Good luck!
I got a mail first saying that the scores have got changed but, they had not revealed my scores at that time. Only when I surrendered my first TRF, my new TRF was dispatched. It's quite weird in your case.

That's too bad. I am torn if I should submit my own EOR. My results are similar to yours, except Listening is 9 for me.
Good luck! I think other English testing authorities should be considered because I have heard several stories of people falling short (6.5) in one of their tests. Three of my direct family members even experienced this with IELTS.
Great job! your scores are high, the writing score's a bummer, though. Did you end up requesting an EoR?
If not, I suggest you go for it, if you are confident with your performance in the Writing section. You can still do it within 60 days after you took the exam, as far as I know. If you do go for it, get them to recheck all sections; any mistakes they might have made will get you your money back. Your scores can't decrease with an EoR.
I got my EoR results today, and my writing score changed from 6.5 to 8.0 (Imagine that, 1.5 bands higher). Again, I was totally confident with the material I have written during the exam. It is up to you, if you feel you did better than the grade you got.
Hi, does IDP send an email even if the results have not changed? I applied for EOR on 21st January but I haven't received any email from them except the payment acknowledgement email. Please advise.
