I am also in same boat. When we filled the EOI was there any indication of principal applicant? A lawyer who handled a friends application few years back made mother as principal applicant...just my two cents ..some more insights requested

I honestly cannot recall what most of the EOI said ..lol - it all happened so quickly !
Of course at my folks age ( as with many others ) health can change so quickly ....
I have to make the decision in the next couple days though ,as I am with parents getting forms signed before I head back to Canada .

Hi, my common law partner and I are co-signing each other's parents and we will submit the applications at the same time, our current family size is 2 (she and me). We don't have any previous undertaking, which means our entire family size will be 6 (including my and her parents). in this case, how can we fill in the IMM5768? This is how I fill in the form. please help confirm if it is right? thanks.

Hi Guys,

Could you please tell me how do you answer Q14 on IMM 5768 (Financial Evaluation for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship)?
Do you mention each year of employment separately or write down a period of employment with 1 employer as one entry? I am confused as to how would i mention the Gross Income/Benefits for the period in the either case.

Any response is much appreciated

We have time till June 28th to submit the documents right? Is there any advantage or disadvantage if we send the document before june 28th?

I am also concerned about this. I am afraid if they have sent invitation to 27000 people and close down when they receive 20000 applications. However, those who submitted incomplete application in haste will again line-up at the back of row.

I sponsored my wife in 2005. Now she is canadian citizen - do I need show her as previous undertaken in section 3b of IMM 5768?

Assuming you had two entries then? One for her employment and one for her retirement here in Canada?

My parents are still working so technically it would be just one entry for me. Just need to validate this approach.

that's right, i only had 2 entried and you would only have one.
