and as i am now not having the cosigner, i believe we just leave the question 16 and beyond, as it is ( not checkmark ,nothing ) CO-SIGNER - STATEMENT OF CONSENT
Its surprising as to how ecas updates are done. There is no FIFO. Some got ecas just after 1 day of application received in Ottawa whereas others are waiting for more than 18-20 days with no updates?
Is something wrong with the applications not in ecas yet ? What is the experience of 2018 applicants. How much average time before people see ecas ?
I have a theory and MY THEORY ONLY that Canada Post delivers faster because it goes to the PO BOX that is listed on the checklist. Ppl sending via courier actually have their docs sent to a different address and therefore things get a little delayed.
NONETHELESS, people shouldn't be losing their minds as there is still PLENTY of time for documents to be received. Give it a couple of weeks and theeeen if the documents are still not shown as delivered, follow up.
For people that are still working on their docs, just send it via Canada Post. Most people that did that got it delivered in 2 days, it seems...
That's not true, Canada Post delivers to SCI which is the IRCC scanning and processing facility, it doesn't actually go straight to a government office like for other sponsorship or citizenship process where you are sending straight to the Sydney CPC.
The PO Box is associated to their address in Stevenage
The reason why some people don't see their file on ECAS is purely due to the usual randomness as in all IRCC processes
received invitation email 24 april
ottawa received file 2nd May
Checked online status using UCI ( since my parents are on visitor visa they have UCI ), and the online portal is just confirming that they have received the file as of 2nd May
Yes, add her name there. I'd also write on the back of the page that she is not co-signing, per Q5. you know.. just to be safe. But they will get it. The fact that she is not signing anything and you are not sending her income info will paint the picture.
