Got my GCMS notes - recommend passed by the case analyst since January.
Criminality and Security not started.

Not really sure what to do, but keep waiting.

Haven't seen any updates since uploading ADR on Apr 29

When I submitted the documents for my first ADR, the status was "We are reviewing the additional documents you provided" for 3-4 weeks. After I submitted the docs for the second one, the status changed to "Not applicable" in 2 days. According to my experience if you see "We are reviewing..." status it means your file is still waiting for the officer to be reviewed. Since it can take 3-4 or even more weeks with no movement, I suppose you just need to wait until it changes to "Not applicable" (there will be the eligibility passed and security in progress). If everything's good, your BG check will end in a few days after that.
I may be wrong, but hope I'm not.

Well according to the agent on the phone they put the freeze on the account for 2 weeks at least when we order notes. He said mine was delayed because of it and I shouldn't expect anything in 2 weeks to a month. Not sure I believe that he is right, but it's a possibility. I've ordered them on May 10

Okay, you're right, but still lol. My cic portal says they are still reviewing my eligibility. So it is still not accurate.

For engineers is P.Eng mandatory for applying under express entry as FSWs.. will there be any problem if I don’t have P.Eng certification..

P.Eng is not mandatory for fsw ee, but are recommended by companies in regulated profession for employment.

Not a requirement for PR.

I'm pretty sure the engineering NOC can be used without P.Eng. An example would be graduate engineers who cannot obtain P.Eng yet (engineers-in-training), but still have the same job duties. The Express Entry website says "If you plan to work in a regulated profession, you must still get your licence in the province or territory that you plan on settling in.", which suggests that after getting PR, they are saying you need to get your P.Eng if you plan on working as a licensed engineer (stamping drawings, etc.).

I do not think so. Many asked for the notes and received PPR directly after submitting the request.

My patience ran out today and I ended up calling the helpline number.
My Eligibility is Rec. Pass, Criminality is Passed, and Security is Not Started.

She'd sent a reminder to my case officer on April 30th, and they have to wait for 30 days for a reply back from them. So now I have to wait 2 weeks for the 30 days to expire before I can call back and get some new info.

Now back to being patient.

Try calling the agent and ask him/her to drop a email to the respective officer.

You have to call CIC and tell them the that the application has not moved from Jan and request them to drop a reminder for the officer. Be polite and they will do the need full.
