Thanks for the reply. While preparing Express Entry profile, from what levels of education do I need to enter my information in the EE profile. Do I have to give details pertaining to Matriculation, Senior Secondary, Graduation, and finally Masters degree details? Or Can I just enter details for my Masters degree?

Hi can't thank you enough..., please share your valuable knowledge and experience about the following criteria set out by the Alberta Express Entry Stream
1. Are working in an occupation that supports Alberta’s economic development and diversification,
2. Have stated an interest in immigrating permanently to Alberta
What are those occupations as per point no. 1 ?
(For point no. 2) Do an applicant has to choose only Alberta as his/her preferred destinationCanada? Can all provinces and territories be selected and hope for an ITA from AINP or any other province or territory?

I need your advice on the education history section. I am doing my Master's program, and I haven't completed it yet. I am wondering how I should complete the following sections:
Q1: Standing at the end of study period?
(a)- In good standing but no certificate or diploma or degree awarded
(b)- Certificate or diploma or degree awarded
(c)- Not completed
Q2: Was X awarded a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate for this period of study?
(a)- Yes
(b)- No
Q3: Has X had an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) within the past 5 years for this degree, diploma or certificate?
(a)- Yes
(b)- No
I do not know if I should choose (a) or (c) for the first question; I am not sure if "Not completed" means ongoing studies or abandoned studies. Also, if I choose "No" for the second question, the system will assume my current studies to be foreign and will give me the third question which does not make sense.

Hi there,
Can anyone please suggest me, during finding NOC, do we have to consider NOC related to our job experience only or we have to consider education also? For example, master in pharmacy (education) with experience in sales and marketing, should I have to consider NOC related to job only or both?
Can you please help me with the selection of relevant NOC code for the following responsibilities. Which NOC suits me best, is it 4162 or 2161? Sorry for long post.
I am working as a consultant in a credit bureau . I have done my PGDM and have bachelor's in Computer science and engineering.
Responsibilities :
1. Conduct model risk validation by applying statistical and analytical principles on a wide range of Risk, Marketing, Fraud, Income and other variety of models used throughout in Banking, Telecommunication and Healthcare.
2. Create model risk reports, including authoring and presentation of validation reports for the attention of senior management, supervisory authorities, and model stakeholders.
3. Use SAS to apply statistical methods like logistic regression on customers credit data to predict the credit risk associated with each customer. It helps financial institutions such as Banks to allocate loans based
on riskiness associated with each customer.
4. Use SAS and Python to perform analysis using multiple statistical tests like correlation check,t -test , ANOVA, Chi square to provide insights the management that lead to significant business decisions.
4162 has duties which are aligned more towards economics side as mentioned in it's name - 4162 Economists and economic policy researchers and analysts. My work involves on application of statistics in model risk management domain therefore, it does not align with duties mentioned in NOC 4162 However, when i searched for 2161 - statistician in job bank - (search "Job Bank Canada"), i am getting all the jobs related to actuaries. While searching for 4162 i am getting jobs for risk management profile but NOC's 4162 duties do not match with the my daily work.
For NOC thing you need to consider your job only not the education. It says you should have the relevant experience in the field that is mentioned in the Canada National Occupation Classification (NOC) list.Your education would be considered in the education field.
If you were employed you have yo indicate your position not just "employed"..if you were a manager during those dates then write "manager',same thjng with other position. If you were a nurse then write nurse..just write your job title indicated in your certificate of employment[congratulations Please how did you do it to receive an ITA. Please how did you reach the required score. Please share with us, thank you
I'm a newbie here and would appreciate some feedback.
I'm really confused as to which NOC code I have to select for my profession. I have a bachelors degree in mechatronics and a masters in engineering. I understand that the NOC is not based on your educational profile, however, I am currently working as an HVAC sales engineer. Now sales engineers fall under the NOC 6221 ( Techincal sales) this is under skill level B, and coincidently NOC 2132 ( Mechanical engineer) has both mechatronics and HVAC engineers under its example occupation. Which one should I choose?? Keeping in mind my reference letter too has to reflect the NOC I have chosen! My designation at work is a sales engineer and my company deals with all things HVAC.
Any insight into this would be highly regarded! Thank you.
