Hello guys! Just want to share that we got PPR!
Timeline
Aug 2018 - CIC ITA
Sept 19, 2018 - AOR
Oct 2018 - MEP
Nov 2018 - Procedural fairness letter
Dec 2018 - sent common law proofs (response to PFL)
April 12 - IP2
May 9 - PPR (gave us only 5 days to send passport)
PNP-O
Manila VO
This is after about 7.5 months in CIC stage and more than 2 years total journey including applying for PNP. We even had review required for eligibility because of stat question but it was quickly changed to “met” only few days after transfer to vo. Saw this in gcms notes. We ordered notes twice (Nov 2018 and Jan 2019) and even last week ago.
I advise everyone in this group to order notes if you haven’t yet. This gave us peace of mind for the long wait.
Thanks to this forum and everyone!
was there any change in the currency exchange rates after your AOR date from the country u r applying from? did u try ordering notes to check the delayment in process? did u submit anything related to POF after AOR proactively? if u showed FDs u might be in RR for maturity date issues?
good luck
Well if it's taking so long then it probably is comprehensive SS...nonetheless I did order CBSA notes last month so waiting for them to arrive...only CBSA notes can confirm 100% about comprehensive SS.

We are talking about security here. I know for a sure fact that my application is being delayed due to discrimination. That’s it. Many pakistanis go through comprehensive SS. It is surely not due to backlog. Not everything is due to backlog.

Don't think it's discrimination. I am from Ukraine Inland applicant: studied in Canada as well, AOR Sept. 30th -- walking towards my 8th month. Ordered GCMS notes on March 27th - no response.
Having the same question every day: why? But I am sure in Canada they are not discriminating.

I'm in the same boat. I called them in April and was told I'm in the SS stage even though my app shows 'background check in progress'

At least you receive ghost updates which means they have touched your application. I don't have any movement.
And it's really hard. I am in Canada for almost 5 years

I received another ADR on the 10th.
3rd ADR for now.
They wanted references from the 1st job, a bank statement and new pay slips. I'm truly freaking out that all this is coming when I have a few days to my 8th month .
Oh man.. Thanks.. In my GCMS it was written that my eligibility was met in November. Today morning I received an update that my background check has started and request letter for Bank statement and proof of fund... After 6 months finally someone has touched my file... I hope I dont get anymore ADR... keeping fingers crossed
