Is anyone sending an explanation letter if the family size mismatch between EOI and application due to the confusion between family unit and family size ?

What info you used to check your application status

Used sponsor UCI, last name, DOB and country of birth. Also works using same info of principle applicant.

This form is not required if we planning to fill the application on our own, instead going to lawyer. am I correct???

you can be Rep for your parents, they will ask it anyway later

So based on your case, it is taking 4 working days for ECAS to be updated. Assuming it stays the same, I can expect my ECAS to be updated on May 10th.

The discussion (a few pages back in this forum) on sending the forms early on when the workload on the Case Officers is light is relevant.

Can others also check on ECAS? There are about a dozen applications that were received by May 2nd as per the tracker

@YULIA-2016 Would it make sense to add a column before "Stage 1 AoR Received" titled "ECAS Updated to Application Received on" and people can provide dates?

I am wondering if they started on May 1 and worked their way through the pile so the packages delivered on the 30th would be on the top of the pile and get entered into ECAS first lol

Hey guys, I am having trouble filling imm5669 question 4d. My dad( dependant) has never been refused any visa but my mom (principal applicant) has been. Therefore, should I tick "yes" on my dad's form and explain my mom's refusal since they are asking for any family member listed in his pr application.

I logged in just now and checked ECAS and I can see Application received now. I was checking it daily 2 to 3 times, last time I checked was at around 10.30 am today and there was no update. But now it is.

I checked it via both the UCI - Applicant and Sponsor, in both I can see update.

One strange thing though, My mom is staying with me on super visa right now, and thats how I stated her current mailing and residence address of Canada. But in ECAS I can see current mailing and residence of back home.

I guess they are taking it from previous UCI data, I know I can update it, but I will wait till AOR comes, dont want to mess the file in hurry.
Anyone else have observed similar address mismatch?

Your guess is correct, I have a closed application from last year and still showing withdrawn and the same address.

Maybe it's just that ONE super deligent and overachiever trainee who is scanning the barcodes. Anyone's package that gets directed to her, gets their ECAS updated in 4 days . The ones that get to the desks of real Case Officers...well that's another story...
