you never receive a ghost update in the middle of any of the steps (unless they want to ask you for ADR). I think as you said the agent just didn't want to tell you directly, but my feeling is that you already passed the security. To make sure wait for a couple of days, if there is no sign of ADR, then it means that your SS is done and your are in line for final review, approval, and ppr.
That's a good point. The reason I got a little scared was that he kept me on hold for quiet some time and then said the reason it took me so long was that I wanted to have a good look at your profile and then he said security screening is still in progress. If it's passed but he doesn't want to tell me then at least he won't lie to me right? And if that's the case the only explanation would be to receive a request for ADR.

No, I was lucky. The agent was nice and immediately told me that congratulations. your file is approved. wait for the ppr email.
The detailed deadline is in my signature.

I called them again and the agent said the second background check is still in progress. I didn't mention the security screening to not scare her but kept asking what was the update that I saw on Tuesday for and she kept saying there is no update on your application and I don't know what you're talking about. This is how ghost update looks like right? Or am I making a mistake here?

I am so wondering! My lawyer checked my profile and said I had ghost update! She also sent me a profile screen shot but I do not see something like this in the message part! How is possible?
