Hi All, just want to confirm the forms and supporting documents before sending to CPC-PGP. I am sponsoring my father and mother. My wife is co-signing. No dependents, no representative and giving access to IRCC to access our SIN details.

2. IMM5768 Financial Evaluation - Signed by Me and my wife
3. IMM008 Generic Application- Signed by my father (Principal applicant)- Validated with bar-codes
4. IMM1344 Application to sponsor- Signed by Me, my wife and father (Principal applicant) - Validated with bar-codes
5. IMM5406 Additional Family infor: 2 separate forms for father and mother, signed
6. IMM5699 Background declaration: 2 separate forms for father and mother, signed , no bar-codes

Supporting Docs
1. PR card photo copies(Me and Wife)
2. My marriage certificate copy
3. My birth certificate
4. Passport Bio pages copies (Father and mother)
5. My parents marriage certificate copy
6. 2 photos (For each parent, one photo with name date of birth and stamp from studio )

Well the user guide mentions that in this case you can just put * for any unknow part of the date. In my case it will be *-*-*. Also, it says that we won't be able to validate it.
My suggestion would be to have a letter of explanation where you refer to the reason for not being able to validate the form. Also, quote the exact lines from the application user guide.
The following are the lines I am quoting from the guide:

"Personal details
Note: If you do not know the complete date of birth or if the date is in the 1800s, please use a “*” (star sign/asterisk) to fill in the spaces for the unknown year, month or day. The missing information can be added by hand however the form cannot be validated."

Not validating this particular form will be fine as on clicking on validation there is no bar code getting generated. Hence, we should be fine.

I called IRCC myself. before i could finish my question agent suggest to use 01/01 and validate. and provide the letter of explanation.
she didnt even say cut the 01/01 by hand. said just attach short explantion.
a friend who is also a consultant suggested to do the same. validate the form. invalidated form beg more question.

@scylla yes i do and also one more doubt - current country of residence for my parents (they are here in Canada on a visitor visa and goin back on July 8, 2019)

Question on the Given name in the IMM 5669 Background declaration Form:

My mother given name is only mentioned and the surname is not mentioned in her passport. So I always give this name as Surname in forms and leave given name as blank.

But in IMM 5669 form if I leave Given name as a blank I am unable to validate.
Any suggestions what should be entered here? Has anyone entered NA for the given name in 5669 background declaration form

I validated the form by entering same name in both fields and just gave a short explanation for it.

I don't think Marriage certificate has an expiry date. Athough some people may wish for one

Out of curiosity, do you think there will be some delay (given the need for interagency coordination) for people who have provided SIN as opposed to people who have provided NOA's or NOA's / SIN both ?
