How long after test they will invite for oath ceremony?
I had my test yesterday. I was wondering if I could get my passport before July and go to summer vacation.

Usually Scarborough office give Oath letter for very next day. But in some cases within 1-2 weeks.

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 1, 2018.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 5, 2018.
3. We started processing your application on April 24, 2018.

And the waiting game continues!!

Exact same situation .. except mine is March 2 and April 18.

So frustrating. I had to apply for Schengen Visa today to join my colleagues for a conference in June. No use of waiting around for this to be completed.

i m sure by this time you must have called/email IRCC many times... any luck on why its delayed ? or same stupid reason like "security clearance" etc;... was ur MP of any help??

Is it possible to get only one person of the total applicants of the family application gets the Finger Print Request?
My wife received an email for Fingerprint request, whereas I did not receive anything yet

Yepp.. since Citizenship application is individual specific.. i have seen from other posts some of the family members getting FP...not all.. completely normal!!

Yep ... Security screening in process.

I requested ATIP notes from CSIS around 3 months ago and they sent a letter saying that my security screening case is still in progress.

Hi.
I got a test invite yesterday for May 22 in Scarborough. In process since 15 August 2018. I think and hope that the process will speed up for Mississauga applicants. thanks.

Contacted my local MP and got response from immigration saying that they are currently working March 2018 applications and they "anticpate" to get around my application in 8-10 weeks.... wait continues...

Mississauga office itself started sending files to Scarborough to speed up the process.
