I am also from Mississauga ,initially I sent inquiry through web form but they said they have contacted my office and they will contact me ,yesterday I contacted my MP and he asked me to fill the consent form and send the copy of drivers license so that they can contact IRCC on my behalf...I am sure it will not expedite the process but who knows ...It may work,we should take our efforts.
Bottom line contacting your MP is not a bad idea....
I have filled the web form few days back, but no reply as of now. Not even an acknowledgement.
@dkmemon did you phone or email your MP to get those information? I am also thinking of doing the same.
I am also in the same boat, April 30 ..... 1 year done ............nothing in the email box
Contacting the MP seems to be the new norm

Just got my Oath invite this morning for Kitchener! Finally!! Wrote my test on the 14th March and invite 29 April. Oath in 2 weeks...
Good luck to you!

Call them!
And just FYI, you should get an acknowledgment after sending a webform.
If you don’t get a promising answer; contact your MP.

They will respond with canned blah blah blah. Mine took 9 days and all they said was they have forwarded my query to the processing office and that the processing office will contact me IF they require further documents or schedule test/interview. They will respond but don't expect any tangible information. Note the IF. lol

Hmm, that's why I am wondering. I didn't get any sort of a response. I sent the request last Monday.
Probably I will send another request to inquire status of the last request

For the webform response they have 10 business days to do so. You should wait till it passes to request the information again.
I sent a webform inquiry before and they responded on the 9th business day.

Issue with email responses
The web form is currently having some issues with email responses. You may not get an email confirming that we got your request. We’re still getting all the requests and we’ll answer you by email. We’re working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

lets hope and expect the best of outcomes...
Just received the template reply for webform request submitted last week.
Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
We verified the information you provided regarding the processing time of your application and have forwarded it to the responsible office......
Does this mean I should not expect any status updates as a result of webform submission?

Did you read the part that says... The processing office will contact you IF they need further documentation or blah blah blah. That's a smart way to say the processing office will contact you when they have reason to contact you. So don't expect more response relative to your webform.
