hello,
every time when there is an update, i used to get email stating that your account has been updated. but this time i didnt get any mail but randomly chceked my acoount, there was an update saying we are processing your background check. Apparently i m on IP2 but i want to ask, has it happened to anyone here that acoount got updated without notification on email?

Its normal.You do not get a email notification for ip2.It happened to me too.

Hi all, how this ghost update comes. Whether we get an email and no change in profile or directly in account we see a msg Abt update but no update. Not sure exactly what ghost update is

You do not get notified by email for a ghost update.Only your application status changes to 'updated'.

I ordered my GCMS on March 7th and received it on May 3rd. It's taking a long time!

What was the corresponding date for which you received information in the GCMS notes?

Same case with me. I called them and they said that nothing has started yet. Waitig for some movement on my file.

When did you call them? They haven't started anything for a Dec AoR until May? I'll call them today and check. Was hoping things would move a bit between March and May.

Hi Guys. I have couple of doubts and wanted your opinion on the same.
1. My manager from whom I had received the Reference Letter has left the organization. Does it impact the application processing.
2. I had travelled to Afghanistan for a project with UN. Does this travel impacts my application processing timelines.

Same happened with me it changed to processing background check in account and there was no mail. It's normal process I guess

I have a question regarding my last time call to ircc. The agent said that my file is under final review at CIO Sydney NS and will be moved to CPC OTTAWA (which is my secondary VO confirmed with gcms). What does this mean? Will Ottawa take the same time spent at CIO? (Almost 5 months now...) who else had the same situation and how long the second trip to Ottawa take before PPR?

Any idea guys regarding the time line and the type of check done in the secondary office ?

The notes were generated on March 8th. And I received the notes by email on May 3rd.

Dec 8 AOR, Indian citizen living in Singapore. Nothing has started! Update from gcms notes as at 29 March. Spoke to an agent few days back and he mentioned that nothing has started.

Have patience, once it starts it will be quick. stay positive

Called them last week. apart from medical nothing has started as of now. Moreover the agent said that this can get delayed by Sept 2019 so please call us post that. Seems the agent was having a bad day or its a tactic used by them to minimize calls. No idea though.
