Hey I submitted my online sds file on 11 April and biometrics done on 15 April and till now there is no update in my cic portal even my medical status is not changed

Hi everyone! I applied for September 2019 intake, I applied on 4th of April with biometrics on the same day. Linked my account to GCKey on 24th April. It just says we're processing your background check so far.

I think they are still processing march applications. I read on other threads that those who applied 1st week of march got their approval on the last week of april.

Hi,
I applied paper based- regular stream for july intake. My timeline as follows:

April 3- submitted application
April 4- medical and biometrics request
April 10- biometrics done
April 11- medical done
April 26- Linked account to gckey

Update till now: we are processing your application

I submitted my profile on April15th bio request was on 16th April - bio done on 18th April. I did not get any medical request yet. I got the student acknowledgement on 29th April...since then no update yet.

Yea I think they are also prioritizing those applications who have to go for summer term first so might just take a little over 6 weeks for me

I don't think so because i know 5 people on my thread that have gotten approve for September intake 2019

Student visas are processed in the country of origin and not in Canada, correct?
