I want to share my landing experience at 5353 dundas street west Etobicoke with you all. We had appointment at 10.am Me and my kids and my husband left hime around 8 am. 8.40 we were at the interview office.I was nervous. I took payment receipt, 2 photos each, passports, lease of the house, driving licence of me and my husband, few letters showing same postal address, print of landing interview invitation. My kids school documents etc.I was fully prepared.
Dont forget to write your name and your date of birth on back of your PR photos.
We parked the car and went inside the building .We went to the reception desk there were 2-3 persons ahead of us.I showed my interview appointment letter and the person on the reception marched my name on the list he had. He marked my name and my kids and gave us the token D.Token D is for landing.
We were told to wait. We waited for 40 min approx and our number was on screen.
We went to window.I was nervous. The lady on the window asked me my pic my passport and landing invitation.
She asked my husband to give his driving licence and asked me my driving licence. That's it. She went inside and came back in window in few seconds with printed long papers COPR .She had 2 copies. She pasted our pics in the other copy and asked me to check details in my copy .She kept the picture copy if COPR and gave me and kids the second copy. Asked us 2 questions. If we ever had any problems with the police and if we ever denied entry ir refused visa .and told to put initials on paper and full signature in the bottom .She didnt asked anything to my husband. Congratulated and we were done in few min.
Told us about our rights as PR and to get new sin etc.
I was so happy.finally the wait is over .We got new sin numbers and came home.
Wow!!! What a relief. Finally can breath free.no unnecessary stress.
Wish you all guys good luck .It was simple. Your wait is almost over only a matter of few days now .I am very thankful to you all. Especially Barsarah .
This is not my final post.
I want to help more people with my experience who are eagerly waiting like us...

I got an email saying my process is completed and sent to Etobicoke office. Then I got a messgae in my cic account saying my interview is at Niyagara IRCC office.
Hopefully the interview at this office will be quick! I got an email saying to wait for interview date from Etobicoke, so now we are waiting. So close!
How soon after the email did you see the update on interview date?

At @xander88, why in the world would you say to wait until the day of Landing to avoid delay??! The payment needs to be done now or as soon as s/he gets his/her DM letter because some offices are sending out Landing Interview Invitations on the same day of DM letter or just a few days apart. In other words, the payment should be be done at least 48 business hours in advance before Landing Interview in order avoid any delay and complications.
At @Gargoyle_Queen, you should either pay it now or wait until you get your DM letter as it will ask you to send them the receipt through Case Specific Inquiry form (a.k.a Webform) anyways. The idea is that if you pay it now, you may get a Landing Interview Invitation sooner, not to mention that there are some applicants who never got their DM letters but directly received their invitations.
