Dear Members,

I am a Quebec resident and applied for my federal PR in August 2017. I have passed my given processing time of 20 months. Still, there are no updates on my PR. I am curious if there is any other applicant here from August 2017.

Dears,

I plan to order my GCMS notes from one of the websites which makes this business.
  • Why it is not possible to apply as an individual to get GCMS notes from IRCC itself?
  • Why do we need another organization (actually a cloak company, fake -possibly illegal-, middleman) to order GCMS? Because giving consent means giving permission to IRRC for releasing our information to the representative, to that company actually.

Maybe it's a good news for everyone here. I called CIC today. My security's been started May 1st...I think this is the last step.

Here is my timeline,
Application received Aug-31, 2017
AOR Dec-04, 2017
MR April-16, 2018
Pre-arrival April-17, 2018

I received GCMS notes at the end of Feb, 2019.
Everything's passed except security not started.
The last updated date is Nov-30, 2018, paper file, location: PS-. I have no idea what it is.

At least someone's really working on it now.

My status in ECAS has changed to "Decision Made" but no email or information has been shared to me. Is this normal? Did any receive an email before after decision was made?

You exactly have the same timeline as of mine and I am also waiting for my PR. Hopefully, I will also hear from them soon. Good luck!

Hey congrats! You will receive the golden email shortly. Were you asked to re do your medical since your medical expired in April 19?

Congratulations! From what I've read, DM appears first in Ecas most of the time. What is your timeline?

I just spoke with CIC agent and they said my PR has been approved and it's in staging. I did not see any updated status online nor any email. Does anyone has idea how much will it take to get update online?

I have also applied in August 2017. Haven't had any news yet :(

How did you contact them? We have the same timeline.
