thanks guys for your support, waiting was killing us,
file moved from Sydney to London on March 21, 2019 and then process started to take positive steps.
I pray for all who did not receive it yet, keep holding, it is coming.

Hello Guys,

I received a mail for Passport submission, yesterday. Its a good news but with a twist .

I have moved from India to Sweden, for work permanently; for which I had requested for updating my address in my IRCC account, using web-form.

It was confirmed that it is been updated and after which, my PR process showed some speed. Finally the Passport request.

But, now the passport submission is from India VO. They are asking me to submit it using VFS India/Nepal.

I have mailed them and Ottawa office on the current status and that my address is already been updated, almost a month ago. It would be difficult for me and my family to submit passport in India. Same is also done using web-form, so that this communication is not missed out.

I have also asked, if I can submit it in VFS Sweden. If Yes, where the passport should be send India VO or Canada etc.

I am waiting for there reply, it should take 5 days at least.

Anyone faced similar suitation or any feedback is welcomed.

Called CIC today...No updates...they sent an internal mail asking about the status update. 13 months completing in a week.

2 weeks back MP's office contacted IRCC through their own initiative, will hear back from them on May 6th, once they have received an update.

Ordered GCMS notes on April 3rd.. Hoping for it to come within the next week or so.

Hi @Enorm19, my file also moved to the Pretoria office around the end of March. I believe this is a good sign so I'm staying hopeful!

Yup. Same here. This is the second reply that I got from MP. Exactly similar to the last one that I had received 4 months ago.

Processing without undue delay
Applications should not be subject to unnecessary delays. A delay that cannot be justified is a denial of procedural fairness.

Do you know how long your file has been there?
Have you called them regarding progress?
