Hello,

My husband has a valid Canada closed work permit visa. Now his company is filing dependent visa. Can I change the dependent visa to dependent work permit as soon as we both reach Canada? I also have a Canada visitor visa.

Please advise me whether can I apply for dependent work permit if I travel only in dependent visa after reaching Canada.

If he has a skilled job, yes, you can apply for an OWP in Canada.
 
Thank you everyone. So my husband is working as a programmer (software). Will that be a skilled job. And will that come under NOC A, B or 0, If he is a programmer?
