Thanks for your reply @diegosolano but in the form imm0008enu_2d for the applicant, I believe this form must be filled by my parent. It says: Have you received your CSQ ?
If no, when did you apply
for your CSQ?
Which date are we supposed to write as we did not apply for CSQ yet !

I have the same question, I think we should apply for CSQ first then enter the date on 0008.

Me and a friend we both were unable to do that.
So we are going to type the name and validate and still get the handwritten signature next to the typed name.
That’s really strange that it let some people validate it withou typed name

I also type in the name, validate it and sign.

It's not surprising that just how many don't bother reading the official sources for how to fill out the forms, many ignore simple instructions for creating something useful to all of us.

Updates not precisely matching will be ignored. Just like applications from people who knew they didn't qualify but took someone's spot anyway.

Hey usr19, do you in a very thin, slight, mighty hope that the total sum of these "applications" would add up to more than 7,000 so that IRCC would offer second round of "Express of Interest" within this year??? I would so dearly be ready to see it!

Type name , validate, and delete the name. Firm still stays validated . Then sign with pen.

I have question about marriage certificate.
My husband is co signer for my parents sponsorship , we have marriage certificate issued from a Temple where we got married, IRCC will accept this certificate or no? Because we didn’t register our marriage in in Court.
We are filling our tax together since 2016

We are sponsoring my spouses father and mother. They had previously applied for a Canadian visa, and had a number of documents certified and translated in China. The documents are 3 years old. Can any of these documents be reused or can we take the previously certified documents and get them translated here in Canada (as I think they have to be translated here in Canada now?)?

Photos for application, does the photographer / studio need to be in English, or will this also need to be done by a certified translator?

Your wife is the sponsor not applicant. Your mother in law is the applicant. I do not think maternity leave is unemployed unless she quits her job. She still has an employer, right?
