How will I know if its ghost update?

When I opened Cic account the status was application updated.

What does your background check status say now after the ghost update? It can be IP1 or IP2.

It depends, if you think your application is pretty prefect with a small history of traveling, not too many experience put, also no many dependents with the age of 18 or above. THEN, yes...you could be close from PPR. The simpler your application the faster it get processed, the shorter time your security check might take.

Guess it’s better to ask them to do it. It’s one of the very few things that a rep would do for your application Why would want to miss out on an opportunity to make them work for the money you pay them

If that’s the status after your ghost update then it’s IP2 according to experts here in this forum. But since it’s the same since your AOR(mostly the case for all the applicants who have applied after 31st Dec 2018) I doubt if it’s the real IP2. Probably some update has happened in your application but can’t predict what it is.
