I still haven't received Invitation in Email but see my confirmation number on IRCC website with status You were invited to submit a complete application during the first round. We must receive your complete application before June 28, 2019. Find out how to apply.

Anyone in same boat? I know we are supposed to wait for few days but curious if it is only me

I checked with my lawyer he says looks like it is legit. Just got to wait for the email.

i checked my confirmation number on the website, it does tell me i was selected, but i haven't got an email yet. Do i have to wait for the email? or i can go ahead and apply?

You will have to wait, you will need to attach Invitation email to your application

Hello Guys, I just received the invitation yesterday, I have all forms and documents prepared, but I am hesitating if I should mail them out now or later (in June). The background is:
My parents will come to Canada to visit me in mid-June, and will go back at the end of August. I am worried if IRCC request biometric collection during this time, they have no ways to do it in Canada (they can't do this at the border since they don't have US visa).
Anyone knows the timeline for Biometric enrolment request, like how long after submitting the complete application the IRCC may send that request letter?

I don't think you will get biometrics request that fast. If you check the previous 2018 thread and see their timeline, you will get acknowledgement letter first and then they will check the eligibility of sponsor. Once that is cleared then they will ask for PCC and Biometrics from parents. It will take few months time.

i dont have my Birth Certificate but My passport has my mother’s name in it.

Do they accept the passport copy instead of birth certificate?
or how can I prove our relation ship? or is there any other option?
