We almost have the same timeline,
Mine's AOR is May 15, 2018
RPRF Paid
Medical
As per the progress bar it should be completed on January 15, 2020.
We still got a long wait to go.
I am actually kind of frustrated but we have nothing to do, even my MP cant do anything. She just said she have my file checked and everything was fine, it is just the matter of waiting.
Need help, can anyone come across with that? that during the federal process I changed citizenship and passport?
In our case, we lost the citizenship of Kazakhstan after the package was submitted to the feds. Then we acquired Russian citizenship.
3 weeks ago we sent Russian zagran. passports to the Moscow office for issuing visas (because they received a Ready to Visa notification) and where they received an answer that they were originally prepared for Kazakh passports.
Now the Moscow office has answered us that it has forwarded our situation with the change of passports to the central office and they will be engaged in the file review (reassessment).
Can someone come across? How much time are these issues addressed?
What advise in this situation? Can call the central office and ask to accelerate?
Ah ok, so basically your application is still fresh, and you didn't loose much time by switching passports. It will take between 6 and 28 months. Recently, someone waited 40 months. Nobody can tell you for sure how long, and calling them does not speed up the process. Have a look at the spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11kdzo2tA_6HiILyuHtDsYtVajswDvHYTUiEFlFM1b28/edit#gid=185830120 and add your info. Welcome to the club. My advice (from someone waiting 20+ months.): Get on with your life and don't stress about the process.
Good luck!

Hello everyone,
need help with a case that happened yesterday.
I am on a post graduate work permit, have CSQ and a PR application in process.
I applied earlier today to extend my husband’s open work permit as well as my children’s study and visit permits.
I started with my husband’s online application and once finished logged out and opened a new application. Somehow, because I didn’t close the browser, the second application for my son’s visitor visa went directly to my husband CIC account. So is my daughter’s study permit.
Will my children’s applications be held until a decision is made with my husband’s application?
Called CIC and the agent said that theoretically applications with lesser processing time should be processed first. But it could be both ways, she didn’t have a definitive answer.
She called me a few minutes later saying that my husband’s application should be approved for my children’s application to be processed. Later on today all applications were opened and each starts with a corresponding initial : W for the work permit, S for the study permit and V for the visitor visa and each letter is followed by an application number. Does this mean that each application will be dealt with separately?
Has anyone had such a similar case? Should I withdraw my children’s application?
Help!
