How to people get to know about the visa office processing their application?
I emailed to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with all my credentials 9 days ago, but did not hear from them.
Please anyone enlighten.
Hi friend, I've also applied a webform to ask which office my case is assigned at about 15th the April, and an email came this morning, saying "
Your application was received via your account on February 19, 2019. The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied, you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed."
Basically it does'nt answer my question. I am thinking maybe I should call them next time.
Hope this helps.
First of all, congratulations. You are very close to PPR. Secondly, passing eligibility does not depend on security. For you to pass the eligibility, with passed or met, the visa officer will have to review your case and approve. From my knowledge on this forum, eligibility with recommended passed is when only the case analyst/officer reviewed your file. Visa officer will then review and in most most cases, if not all, will agree with the case analyst/officer.

Thank you! Out of interest, how do you know this means I'm close to PPR? For instance, I could spend months in IP2, or waiting for my eligibility to pass, no?

By close I did not mean in terms of time! I meant in process. MEP and eligibility are the biggest hurdles in this process and finishing off means your chances of rejection are very minimum now. Hence, you are very close to PPR. Matter of time. All the best.

I also spoke to IRCC this morning about my application and I was told the following:
- Eligibility: Met
- Criminality: On going
- Medical: Passed
- Security: Not started
AOR 4 Feb - outland (primary applicant) from US (italian citizen) and spouse inland (iranian cirizen).
I applied with my spouse (she's secondary applicant) and I actually haven't asked specifically if this status was for myself or my wife or both, but I would assume for both?

HELLO dear Fellows; Subject: SECURITY CHECK.....understanding
When the IRCC officer tells you that you have passed MEP, Eligibility, and Criminality, and now in SECURITY CHECK! i hear very widely that this stage takes around many months!!? BUT, how about many of our fellows who got their PPR within 2 or 3 months max, how did their applications were security checked so fast? is there two types of security check like security screening? why some others "minority" stay for even a year in security screening?
I am asking this question because i believe many of us are in this stage or very soon to be in it.
