In case people didn't realize: the progress bar with the donkey and the carrot was fake (a joke).

I now indeed got that progress bar this is how it looks. As expected, completely useless.

When did you apply almost_pr?

The screenshot shows when I applied. The progress bar indicates the time remaining to 20 month since I applied. It is not new information, and is not the date when I will be given decision. On wednesday, it will switch to: "It takes us longer to process blabla". Ergo, useless.

Hello Friends

There is nothing new in progress bar. They have simply added 20 months from receipt of your application date. This is not useful. They are wasting their and our time. Instead of making and thinking about progress bar they should have spent their energy to curtail the overall time of 20 months. It will help the newcomers and the canadian economy both.

One more thing which comes to my mind. Why they are taking 20 months once we received CSQ. Quebec government have already gave the permission and they have checked and verified each and every criteria of immigrant. They should grant us visa within 6 months. What is federal government is processing for 20 months??

Depends on your country and their wish to give you visa it’s 7 days to 6 months I am waiting from Nov - 18
