Received the Pre-arrival letter today. please update SS line #186.

I can also see the background check in progress since last few days.

PR Applications for Parents move very slow initially. what is your ecas status showing now? There should be two parts. Sponsor part and Applicant part. They will first review sponsor's eligibility and approve sponsorship. That takes about 3 -4 months, in my experience. So, I do not think you will get any message before July based on your timeline. I am assuming that you have already received your application file number.

Hello Folks

IRCC recently received a medical and passed it. The PCC they asked me on 11-03-2019 and was submitted on the same day. In the GC key it says the docs has been uploaded. The BC check hasn't started yet. Is it normal or they may have forget to update it or it is not started yet? Has anyone gone through this? @Cravethe6th @YULIA-2016

That's a good question! I got email notification for MyCIC update. There are two IMM1017 Forms for medical exam instructions for my parents in law. But I don't know where are they from....
By the way, I'm right now living in Ontario. Toronto to be precise.

if you have mycic account and your application is attached to the account, then you should see an online link to upload the PCC. If you do not have online account, you can submit via email. However, I understand that if your visa office is outside Canada, they may ask for original PCC, in which case, you have to send it to them by post or courier.

Yes, it is a paper application but it can be linked to an online account. Please look for posts in the forum (and also in IRCC website) on how to link a paper application.

Hello everyone! Finally the wait is over.. My parents received their passport's with Visa stamped on April 15..Thanks to everyone for sharing and advises..and please @YULIA-2016 update my timeline on SS please l,thank you..
