Called them probably you have missed some correspondence. Same as my file , they sent me email but I never received. Now hope they will send it soon.

Thank you, I called the IRCC and the call centre agent said that the AOR was sent on December 21, 2018 (which I didn't receive). The agent also said my application is currently in Mississauga and is in progress, so I will sit tight and hopefully it moves along.

Did you check physical mail? Ours was received as snail mail in our mailbox. But later on, medical request was via email.

same story was told to me... but so far, i haven't got any mail regarding AOR... since early Feb.

Hi guys.

I received an email from the Mississauga processing center informing me that my parents’ apps have been forwarded to the visa office in Ottawa. Then another email from the Mississauga processing center arrived telling me that my parents need to get their medicals done within 30 days.

I have 3 questions now:

(1) If my parents can’t get their medicals done within 30 days, who should inform IRCC of the delay, me or my parents?

(2) In our case, which office should we inform of the delay, the Mississauga processing center or the visa office in Ottawa?

(3) Should we email the office directly or submit a request through the IRCC webform site?

1. Technically if your parents have representative on file, that representative have to reply. If not then your parents. I think who gets the email from IRCC that person can reply back
2. It is always a Visa office. Every visa office has email address. You can search google for that. You can find visa office information from the letter you got from IRCC about your file was moved to "VISA OFFICE" . It should be in the letter. Then sent email to that visa office. Ofcourse include Name, DOB , UCI in all communications Including the latest letter you got from that office for reference. May there is way to upload the letter/DOC from GCkey account as well. I would do both or also may be regular mail
3. I believe IRCC webforms are more about when you are requesting/asking IRCC about update on your case.

hey Guys.. Some good news.. almost after a month of medical passed. Just few minutes back I received PCC request.
I got an email saying there is a message for me in my account and when I logged in I see two changes in my status
Review of additional documents We need additional documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Yesterday I sent PCC through email and today I uploaded the same through my account

At lease some progress which is good sign

Its almost 1 and half month and still showing Application Received at the Applicant Status in CIC. does it get changed to In process when the ystart processing. SVO- SIngapore. Also have not received and medical or PCC request

our file is in Delhi and they are not responding to anything. Sent enquiries through webforms and email. No update yet.. !!!!!

I have applied for my parents sponsorship, File accepted medical exam done. Now they have requested Police clearance certificate (via email). Now my parents are in India and they will going to obtain it from India only. My question is how I have to submit PCC to Immigration? Via email/Mail?

if you have mycic account and your application is attached to the account, then you should see an online link to upload the PCC. If you do not have online account, you can submit via email. However, I understand that if your visa office is outside Canada, they may ask for original PCC, in which case, you have to send it to them by post or courier.

After PCC, they will conduct background check and security screening. it takes a while. there are members in this forum who waited more than 8 months. There are others, who had to do medical second time before PPR.

One thing you can do, is that you can submit Access to Information Request to CSIS and CBSA for the immigration file. These reports show the progress. For example, if CSIS completed their work and sent to CBSA, you will know a part of the process is complete. However, you will need to have authorization from your parents to create ATIP request. CSIS, CBSA and IRCC all have different forms for authorization, please ensure that you fill out those forms and get them signed by your parents.

Hai i applied my parents pr application on october 3 rd 2018 . After that i got email from ircc to send my birth certificate and unsigned imm 5547 form on nov 7 2018 and dead line was a month from nov 7 . I sent all documents through email and i got email after few days that my scanned documents does not meet the requirements of ircc and again i sent all documents through priority mail . After two months also my ecas status did not changed to document received . Then i called agent i asked her i had sent documents and it is updated on my file or not?she told we did not got mail but documents are updated my hand written firms and birth certificate is there in my file. On jan 1 i got acknowledgement letter from ircc.till then no response and nothing changed in my ecas.it has not updated still that we got your documents. Now i would like to ask it is normal my file is in process or not. Any body has idea please share me i am so worried

PR Applications for Parents move very slow initially. what is your ecas status showing now? There should be two parts. Sponsor part and Applicant part. They will first review sponsor's eligibility and approve sponsorship. That takes about 3 -4 months, in my experience. So, I do not think you will get any message before July based on your timeline. I am assuming that you have already received your application file number.
