Hello! Congratulations on your ppr! We're you a biometric applicant? 4 months for ss seems short!
Yes I was biometrics applicant. I would say it took 5 months. Yes it is relatively short
May 31st AoR, 25th Oct Ss started and no shit until now
I can only say about myself: July applicant, SS started at the end of Oct, haven't received PPR yet
Are you biometric applicant?

My husband is in ss for sponsorship, but he gave biometric when he applied for a visit visa before we applied for sponsorship. On his gckey it says he has biometric. Does this count as being a biometric applicant ?

All the best for the journey ahead!!
Hi legal falcon! I'm seeing people posting that some biometric applicants are having ss completed in a shorter time frame. My husband applied for a visit visa in 2015 abd I think he gave biometrics then. We applied for sponsorship and are currently in ss. Bin gckey there is a "biometric enrollment date" would this make him a biometric applicant and possibly get him through ss a bit quicker?

meaning if someone already had biometrics in system from earlier visit visa or something but got AOR in august they had to give biometrics again?

No. The biometrics is a one time thing. However, IRCC can ask you to provide the biometrics again to verify your identity.
