I am a Canadian pr holder and my girlfriend is in India and we are getting married in August 2019. Whats the quickest way to get her to canada ?
The options I see are
1. We can apply visitor visa before we are married and then she can come to Canada with me and then apply for PR from inside Canada .. the problem here is that we have to show lots of proofs that she ll comeback to India .. the problem with this is that she is she doesnt work and has very little financial assets on her name (most are on her fathers name)
2. The other option is for her to study in an university in Canada which would get us the study permit and canadian trv. the option is very expensive.
3. last option is to sponsor her Canadian PR after the wedding, which would take 6-10 months.. then she ll come to Canada. This option very last if nothing works as i want her with me as fast as possible.
Are there any other options which I am not seeing Please help a brother out.
Outland sponsorship takes around 12 months not 6-10 months esprcially from India. If your future wife isn't employed, has no property or savings there isn't really any point in applying for a TRV. Has she travelled to other countried in Europe or US, Australia, NZ, etc.? If not that is another obstacle. You can try but the chances of refusal are very high.
Does the family have at least 25K? Has she taken the IELTS already? If is getting late to apply for Fall 2019. Is it really worth the cost?
Think it would be best just to accept that you will have to do outland sponsorship and be ready to submit the application as soon as you have returned to Canada from your wedding. You must remain in Canada throughout the sponsorship but a short visit of 2-3 months seems tolerated.

Thanks for the reply.. we have everything needed to apply for a study visa. Do you think its worth going that route ? or is it worth the money to study
Note of caution...while there isn’t anything illegal about your plan, be careful how you go about it. There is always the potential for some ugly repercussions if they feel you are trying to circumvent the process.

Up to you whether yo want to spend all that extra money for her to study. Quite a lot of money in my opinion but some families have extra money. Would be much better for it to go towards the cost of living in Canada but that is my opinion. Could be part of a home downpayment or a car.

Is it possible to apply for a visit visa before they married? Once the trv is secure, get married in India abd then have her come to Canada with him with the trv and then apply for inland sponsorship?

I am a first sem student in bc. I want to apply for my spouse. We were married 3 and half years before. Ours is a genuine marriage we have all sort of documents to support our profile. I have been in nz fir 3 years. And my husband has a strong travel and working history also. The concern is:
I have just arrived in canada. Do I ought to wait for applying for my husband's open work permit??? Or I can apply for him now?
Is it must that only a iccrc nmber should apply for a spouse open work visa?
Or I can apply from a non iccrc member consultant??
If I do apply from a non iccrc member, would it impact his profile negatively??? Or not ?
Spouses of International students are not guaranteed permits or visas but yes you can apply now. Would suggest applying for an SOWP from your home country so your husband can keep working.
Yes thats the problem.. We have savings to show for and property on her name too. What else do we need to prove that she will return back to home country ? what are the chances

Do her savings correspond with her income? If someone has transferred a large chunk of money to her account that doesn’t actually help. All you can do is attempt to get a TRV. If you don’t get the TRV you will have to do outland. Many couples are in a similar position and have no other choice but to be separated for a year.
