Hello all,
I just noticed a trend in PPR . Indian applicants are issued 5 PPR in batches . The dates as per Immitracker 10th april(5),9th April(5),8th April(5),5th April(5),3rd April(5) ...one or two dates may be +- but it's a trend i just noticed ...
But the current trend is from Ottawa VO for FSW O Indians. NDVO is completely silent. I believe PPRs will rain from ND once they open the gate. But when is the question.

Anyone in your knowledge who got PPR with recent dated FD from AOR or any recent transactions showed and not being asked by CIC?
In my POF I showed one FD which is 3 months old then AOR and same for one transaction both are for 2-2 lacks each. I also showed mutual funds for 2 lacks as additional funds. Is there any chance of review required? Should I raise web form at this stage And submit latest POF or should wait for ADR? Today it is 81 day from AOR and my file is at NDVO. Need Advice on this.
I called CIC and they told me my file transferred to NDVO just after the next day of my MEP and My background check and rest all procedure will be done at NDVO. So I asked nothing pending at Sydney VO she said no Sydney part is done and everything looks positive as of now but we don't have official updates as your file transferred to NDVO.
Could you please let me know as your file was also at NDVO I want to know how they work... can NDVO also mark Review Required on our file?

I think that’ll be there until you receive your passport stamped,it will eventually update to approved or met..you should be happy you are going to get the mail soon!! All the best
No, I don't imagine there's an intentional bias against certain types of candidates or countries of residence - that would be against the law. I also know of and completely agree with the close cooperation between US and Canadian security agencies, but that does not explain why candidates who may have lived and/or worked for a substantial amount of time in the US are treated differently to Indian citizens presently resident in the US. I'll use my own example: I have lived in the US a total of eight years (four years as a student, close to four years on an H1B), so there should be a wealth of information on my background in the US. I have submitted PCCs from the US, the UK and India, so what gives? You can see why it's hard not to interpret the difference between being resident in the US v. India as arbitrary.
Whether there is a bias by design or not, IRCC should be aiming to reduce the standard deviation between PPR days for all candidates, which is likely 100+ at the moment. And IRCC must know that we know of these large variations; this is the age of information and social media.
We don't know the entire process but its unlikely they are going - oh these US residents should be priotizied over Indian residents. For example, the background check is not handled by IRCC but instead by CBSA & CSIS. US very thoroughly vets the background before handing out study & work visas (almost everyone gets "pink slipped" in India and has to wait for a month or two for their visa). So CBSA & CSIS could be just getting background info from US directly, negating the need for doing any background checks. Also, some US residents who land up in Montreal will see the applications take 8-9 months so its not EVERY US resident getting an express lane.
