Is there a thread for people who do their PR processing on their own!? Without an agent? Coz, it seems the agents charge 1.5L and CIC 50K!!!For PR.I personally don't know anyone who did things alone,..Can somebody please help me with this?I've paid their initial registration fee 17k, and did all my ECA procedure alone(PEBC) and felt I dont really need to pay in lakhs just to do the clerical stuff. Any suggestions please
This forum is such one where you can post your questions. Most of the ones here have done their own including me. If you want to go for an agent, there are ones (in Canada) whose cost is lower.
You can do it on your own and get help in this forum.
Hello all,
I have something that I hope i could expert help with
I have written in the LOE that the manager wrote the reference letter while trying to follow the guidelines with regards to the content required by the IRCC.
I have done that to point out that the letter is rather complete except for the salary that isn't mentioned and I did include why it isnt.
So i am worried that this above phrase will be misunderstood in any manner.
Help is appreciated on whether its ok or what should be done.

How about formats for proof of fund n all??
The bank statement should ideally be under your name only. If opened within the last few months or year, you might be asked to provide account statements. This is to ensure someone has not dumped money into your account for sake of your EE.
But there can be exceptions. Try to understand the reason for bank statements - To demonstrate you can sustain yourself and your family temporarily if you move to Canada. As long as you have regular income stream coming through that satisfies the CiC fund criteria, you can always write a cover letter explaining your situation.
Thanks a lot warHammer.
it is not that tedious in my view
Tedious here i doesn't mean it to be tiring, I mean it it can be tedious in the sense that without knowledge you can be exhausted while you through the whole process.

Do not include that sentence. it could give an impression that this could be some forged or falsified document. You can explain why the salary is not mentioned and make sure you include pay stubs, any increment letters, employment contracts to support the salary.

Yes and I am panicking ever since, because I am.afraid it will be misunderstood
It's just that I thought it's already implied that the format is provided in case of work letter so that all ircc information could be added to it, maybe that's what made sense to me at the time of the application

There is no specific format. Get your docs from bank. Have a cover letter for the documents you include.
I recommend to have a table listing your bank acct/ deposit #, type of deposit/acct you have, the amount in local currency, exchange rate, amount in CAD. Acct/ deposit opened and maturity date, tenure. Include applicable details.
Also good idea to provide an explanation on how you extracted the exchange rate.

If you submitted, let's hope they won't. In case if they have an issue, they could verify.
