I have applied from Bangladesh. Can anyone say, how long need to wait for PPR? Around 6 months passed after updating the medical result. I am really worried about it. Kindly help by giving some advice. The detail of my application have been given below:
CSQ Applied: Mar-2011
AOR (CSQ): 24-May-2011
Request for Re-submission of Documents: 16-Jun-2014
Review Result Received: 03-Feb-2016
CSQ Received: 16-Feb-2017 and lost the original copies of CSQ
Duplicate CSQ received: 04-Aug-2017
Applied Federal PR: 27-Sep-2017
RPRF paid: 12-May-18
Medical Instruction Received: 11-Jun-2018
Medical done: 20-Jun-2018 and additional test required for spouse and all the formalities had been done in Sept. 2018. Finally, medical passed and information updated on 28-Sept-2018. Now it is showing “Medical results have been received”
Hi Guys,
Below is my timeline:
- We received your application for permanent residence on March 16, 2018.
- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 20, 2018.
- We started processing your application on April 20, 2018.
- We sent you medical instructions on October 4, 2018. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
- Medical results have been received.
I've done my medicals mid-October and since then, there's no update on the medical results or anything about the background check.
Any insight/tip?
I am also in the same position. Medical result have been updated on 28-Sep-2018 (Medical result have been received). But since then, there is no update. I am from Bangladesh. You are from where?

You submitted on the 27th of Sept...the average processing is now 20months which means you are still withing the processing time. You due date should be May 27th but this does not mean your DM&PPR cannot come this week.
Keep your hopes high and i wish you the best of luck.

Dear INDIA2647,
Have you gotten your PPR email now ?
Dears,
I have completed my biometrics just now.
The guy said that biometrics part will be updated in my account at most in a week.
It is valid for 10 years.
Good luck.

Hi guys
From what I read, it takes 1 week at most to update the biometrics. If you login via GC key, you will get the detailed steps passed or pending but unfortunately I rely on my agency to provide this update and can’t give you much info. Let us know , should be within one week from submission date.
