Hi,
I applied for a Canadian visitor visa along with my wife, I applied online from Chicago USA, as we (me and spouse) have already completed our bio-metrics here in Chicago on 4th January 2019, since then I didn't hear anything from them.CIC shows the application processing time is 55 days when applied from outside the Canada.
kindly guide whats my next step should be?
Should i send case specific enquiry?
If yes, then how? and which visa office in USA to send (as i mentioned earlier, I applied online) ?
It hasn't been 55 business days yet so just give it some time, plus the time is just an average not a guarantee, it can take much longer.

thanks for your reply though, I gave it a reasonable amount of time before I return back to this forum again. I want to mention the fact that, the processing time keeps changing from 26 days to 55 days, yesterday when I checked, the estimated time was 26 days. I totally understand that it is only an estimation, but in my case I have already waited for 55 working days, I need a fresh piece of advice on this matter. Should I wait more or do something else?
thanks in advance
P.S. At the time of my application the estimation time was 26 working days, so I prepared my application (invitation letter) according to that.

The only thing you can do is send them a WebForm inquiry, about office according to IRCC twitter your application will be processed in the Visa office serving your country of nationality which you can look up here
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...-ircc/offices/international-visa-offices.html now some countries have multiple Visa offices don't know how that works. I see some have emails as well maybe you can send them emails as well.
