Hey all! Everything is going smoothly so far. My PA's file has moved to the Mississauga VO, which I'm guessing is the faster way for the application to go. My question is regarding the Background Check 'We started processing' column in the Visa Tracker. People have put specific dates in this column. Are we notified that the Background Check has started, or does it simply appear in the Canadian GC Login?

We saw this status in our CIC account but haven't received any notification that they had started processing it.

It's a section I'm probably going to remove as there are no time stamps and it's basically whenever you notice it change. It's also a bit inconsistent, many of us from November / December have had this since the moment we got AOR and linked our CIC account. The same could be said for ECAS PRAS.

Hello folks, my app reached 25th feb 2019 and i see "decision made" under application sponsorship status when i check the status of my app online.

Does it mean i got sponsorship approval or something wrong with my app?

Decision made that fast ? .... i would contact them process is like up to 12 months or look in your mailbox should have a message related to it.

Normal pace is this :

We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.



You may not hear from us for a little while, this is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date.

Yes, it is SA. Wait for email.

You are talking about PA's info.
It is differ from Sponsor's Decision Made.

Well just it wasn't that clear lol there's a decision made on SA and at the end on PA. so yup, that's SA letter coming up congrats.

We sent our Package in March last week . I ( Principal Applicant) do not live in my country of Birth . I have been living And working in South Korea with a Work Permit.

How do you guys found out which Visa Office your application is processed?

Also, How long it take to get the response once you submitted request through webform?

Up to 5 days , Submitted a technical gckey issue .. took like 4 days so i think unless is SUPER URGENT that's the normal timing.

The sponsor will receive an email stating that your file was transferred to XXXX Visa Office for further processing.
