For real I keep checking my email and accounts ever so often and what ever they ask for I jus do it earliest date possible as i don' t want to be the one holding up the process.

Count me in that one too , it's a long process so if we can short things a lil by quick responses, obviously we do to have the less possible our app on stand by.

called CIC and they said application was returned 3 days ago. There will be a letter with it which will have the details. They said its because of a missing form. I think its IMM5562 but we'll find out soon. I applied when my wife and son were out of the country. now they are in Canada visiting. does that change our situation and the class of application? i'm not sure how i can provide documents like common bank accounts and stuff since she only has visitor status in Canada.

Sorry to hear that. I don’t think that would be a problem. I read somewhere even if your spouse is visiting Canada and intends to go back and will stay outside; you will apply as an outland category. You applied It right but you must have missed some form or signatures.

Just curious. I requested for reissuing of bio metrics and medical request. its my error. Everything is right in the paper but forgot to replace updated barcode before submitting it. Do they send new request papers after 5 or 6 days? i submitted via webform.

And I didn't get any email. SA email was received on March 15.

I have the same situation. I received SA on March 20th, but on my ECAS it says March 26th. No emails received from them on the 26th. Odd

not been able to link via gcKey yet but i guess they gonna send email for all steps and requests if so ? Tempted to call CIC to verify info cause i enter all the good ones and never works.

Make sure to enter 2 in the number of applicants when you try to link.

So we sent in the requested additional documents yesterday and still no update that it’s received but on GC it says “uploaded to IRCC”. So anyone know how long it takes them to review these and let you know?
We got AOR on March 21st

I would say, couple of weeks sometimes even after they review they don't usually update the status.

You never know, I heard they put your application aside if they request for additional documents. Depends on your luck now. Good luck!

They urge you to upload them “as soon as possible” so I doubt they will just let them sit there. A lot of people get asked for additional documents
