Same here. I paid the biometric fee after our application was sent. Paid it March 4th. Got a confirmation email that they received it and were passing it off to proper immigration officer for processing, and haven't heard since.
My account does say at the moment "We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes."
We were hoping they would send us the okay for me to do it before I head back up to Canada for a couple of week visit. Sigh.
