Biometric fee requested an hour after Invitation to pre-arrival service. It is hella confusing they did not mention anything before they sent out RCMP request or pre-arrival invitation

Jan 14 applicant and in same boat. Frustating. They don't tell anything at all. Just that we have the application. Seem to be happening with Jan 14 and 15 applicants only (including me there are 3 applicants who have not received AOR)

Jan 24 and my sponsorship approval has been in process since March 7. No aor yet

Hi.may I ask when did you get ur SA if you dont mind? I am a Feb applicant, did not pay biometrics fee during the submission of my application.

Hey...random question. How were you able to add the tracker link on your signature? Every time I try it's flagged as spam, lol.

Hahahaha no idea. Never happened to me. All i did was typed tracker, selected it and used the link button in editor to set a link

It can be based on your status, i.e. number of messages. You can call it "trust level". Before this forum was updated, you wouldn't have been able to insert a link in your post until you're a full member, that is until you've got 20 messages. A link in a signature also might be that case now, maybe you need to be a star member (50 messages), I don't know.

i was going to come here and rant again (jan 25) but it feels a bit better knowing others are still waiting

Hi, here’s my timeline:
App Received (Sydney):Jan 3, 2019 | AOR1: Feb 22 | RCMP Biometrics Request: Feb 25| Med request: Feb 26 Exam date: Feb 28 Passed: March 10| SA letter: Feb 28 | Moved to CPC-M: March 1 | Invitation to Pre-arrival services: March 20

If you have a case number, you can pay it now and upload your receipt through webform to attach it to your case. It may potentially save some time.

RCMP biometrics. Yeah it wouldn't show anything until they send out requests. Fingers crossed for all of us!

I think it's very likely to hear major updates from then on our BFD, which is around March 28 for both of us.

Rcmp biometrics? Are you outland living in Canada ? It says you have to leave the country for biometrics, I’m going to have to fly back to U.K. ugh
But I’ve heard of cases where they can do e-fingerprints locally ?

I've been wondering about this too, but my partner (PA) is going back to Australia beginning of April anyway.

Looks like none of us who are living here are getting out of doing them So annoying.
Surely they can’t expect you to do RCMP fingerprints and biometrics too? Biometrics are $85 I believe and have to be done out of Canada for anyone applying Outland

Absolutely devastated! Our application was returned last night because I "didn't include my criminal record check", when I clearly did. And my husband looked through the returned package and it's still right there!!! Translated, certified and everything

Very sorry to hear that did you live in different countries? Any other country except your current one where you stayed for more than 6 months? Any clues why they would think some info is missing? Maybe a police certificate is older than 3 months at the moment of sending?

I doubt if they’d ask us to do it again after RCMP.. Maybe just the fee is mandatory whether we are doing it or not?

Anyways requesting applicants to fly back to their home country to record biometrics just sounds insane...99% sure they are not gonna ask us to do that! Sorry to hear this..must be a difficult time for you two! Is the police certificate or criminal record check still valid? Usually it is very time-sensitive
