Yeah it’s normal. Try again and again until you are placed in queue to talk to an agent .

I am just not able to log into my account. Is anyone here facing the same problem? After I
enter the details, it just goes back to the home page. I've tried about 5-6 times now.

Just called CIC, they didn’t really have much to say except my eligibility review is in progress and background check is partly done. She didn’t seem like she wanted to give much information. Ah well.

What did you say in the web form? Planning to raise one today

I can't remember exactly what I said, but it was along the lines of
Agent (insert number) advised that my application had been approved on (insert date) and I have not yet received written confirmation or a passport request. Cab you please advise when this is likely to be received.

Feels like IRCC has just stopped sending PPRs this month. Even Less than half the PPRs issued in Jan and Feb.
Either there will be an explosion or this month will be dry as hell. I hope the former be true.

Called CIC many times and they have the same reply.. background check has not started yet. With 19 days left for 6months timeline this is getting very scary and I gave no idea how long they will take.

i waited 20 mins to speak to an agent, and he told me, Mam, do you know the avg processing time, dont you ? and i said yes, he said until that is over, you need to give time to the agent to look at your file, and you should call us only after that period is over..

You can try again and maybe your call get connected to good agent who can tell you the actual status of your application.

I found this really funny, the way you described (I’m still laughing). But I get you must be really mad and it happens sometimes. Call again and you will surely get a nice agent.

I got a similar and he says .. the estimated time is 6 months so do you want to talk to us before the end of 6 months or after end of 6 months?!
