Hey guys just to let you know that I saw "profile update" in the PR application status around this last midnight. After some hours it turned back to "submited" but the background check changed to IP2 stage. My app was received on August 31, 2018. Here is the message shown in BG:
We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information
Do you know what office is processing your application? It should say at the bottom of the PDF in your email correspondence from CIC, such as when you received sponsor approval. It seems that most of August is Montreal office and are behind the pack of July and September.
I also got SA today! and in the email it says “The Application for Permanent Residence (APR) for your relative will be processed separately and he/she will be contacted shortly.” Any idea how soon “shortly” means. We just sent in requested documents couple days ago because they wanted proof of cohabitating.

Hello, I just found out that the online status for both the sponsor and applicant were changed to DM yesterday and then later yesterday my spouse received an email indicating sponsor approval. Im just wondering what's the possibility of me also get approved? and usually after how long i will receive the results? Thanks! (timeline in signature)
I sent copies of any mail we receive, void cheque’s, 2018 tax return summary, fishing licences, Enmax profile info, Shaw profile info, letter from our doctor/church. Basically anything that shows our names with matching address. Also a few social media screenshots
