Nah, Mate. I think your timing is pretty good. Between the 4th and 5th Month is when you are almost guaranteed some kinda movement atleast as regards the prelim checks.

It's not the PPR request but rather, the uncertainty of it all. After a point, one is almost relieved to get some kinda update (positive or negative) rather than sit on your haunches and wait for 'the sun to shine'

Just ordered GCMS notes a couple of days ago although I think I should have ordered them sooner. Anyway, better late than never. Hoping for some movement soon.

Ordered 'em a coupla weeks back myself. Got a young family so gotta take a call as and when I receive the notes. Hopefully, will get some kinda idea as to what seems to be happening.

I called CIC a few days ago.
They told me that my Visa office was Ottawa and that my eligibility is met.

Security and criminality not started ... Eligibility status not reflected on profile.

Does anyone have an idea of how long criminality and security take to complete? Do you think both can be done in two weeks?
I feel happy knowing I've got GCMS on the way and also got 25 days left on my application but feel bad knowing my criminality hasn't been completed and security hasn't begun.

Got my PPR today.

AOR: 10th October
MEP: 9th November
No update after that. Background check status didn’t change. Received PPR directly.

FSW-O single applicant.

Calling CIC - steps

1- CIC call centre
+16139444000

2- English press 1

3- immigration press 1

4- transfer to citzship and imm can processing application press 1

5- status or processing times press 1

6- become permanent resident press 2

7- application starts with E press 2

8- then enter application number followed by #

9- listen to the entered number and press 1 to confirm

10- enter the year of birth and then listen the entered number and press 1 to confirm

11- hear the details

12- then press 1 to check status (there will be a pause)

13- hear detailed status at the end press 0 to speak to agent

Use Skype or a US / Canada number or any international number service

From where did your order your GCMS notes, i googled, but there are multiple agencies out there, with variable prices.

Eligibility status is never reflected on profile. Once the application is approved or after COPR, the status gets updated to "Your eligibility has been reviewed, check final decision" something like this.

P.S: I have learned about from google. I might be wrong
