I don’t know if it’s a bring forward date or not all he told us that for security checks the deadline is 14 feb 2019. I really don’t know what that means.

Yeah we contacted our mp last week and he said it take some time to reach it to the ministry, I don’t know what that mean so what I understood is that the ircc is the final authority to approve background checks so maybe it is now there for the review. Our mp asked us to contact him if we don’t hear anything from them within in couple of weeks, so we are going to contact our mp in the coming week.

Hello, I am july27, 2018 applicant from Pakistan. Our sponsorship application has passed. We received our sponsorship eligibility form and medical has also been done in December.
Our file got transferred to LVO on 17th January but since then there has been no update.
I rechecked my status and saw that i’ve missed a status update on ecas where it says that we started processing your application on 17th January. Does it mean that my bgc has started?

If it say in process it means they have started processing your background checks and if it say in progress it means they haven’t started yet

No it just means that the file has been assigned to officer in London. They send a separate notification when your background check starts.

Nop you just have to check it on your gckey account regularly. They don’t bother to inform about anything

Well our mp is cooperative for sure and he does his best to help us, there is nothing he can do though. Sure I will inform you if something happens and I am going to contact my mp in the coming week so let’s see.

does LONDON visa office have any preferences ? like do they prioritize applicants that are from UK ?

It means for that moment they don’t need any additional documents anymore. They can ask it later till the end they can as anytime but right now they don’t need any documents
