Applied for GCMS on 7th Jan and received on 30th. According that the eligibility was not yet passed as of 7th Jan. There was a review required note regarding the stat questions (A visitor visa was rejected 5years back due to some mistakes that were done while completing the application. But was issued a VISA after reapplying).
Again applied for GCMS on Feb 6th and still waiting for the notes.
Call center agents does not have full access to the file. Even if they have access they don't bother to go through 100+ pages just to give you some information (Especially if you are still within the 6 months period).
When is the good time to call CIC, I tried calling now but the last option to talk with agent says"Due to high volume the option to talk to an agent is not available"

Congratulations to all folks residing in US and got PPR. I believe it is super convenient to verify employment records for IT people in US. A plain google search and there you are. Email, official website, contact info etc. And it is easy to collect pay slips , W-2s, or any other tax info . I have friends who provided documentation more than it was required and got PPR in less than 4 months. Plus most of the residency has been in US (in last 10 years) which makes it easy to get through security and criminality. I have noticed ,more travel history work less in person's favor.

According to the previous GCMS primary office was CIO and the secondary was CIC-Ottawa

What time did you get the email (Eastern time ?). I am November 8th AOR, from US. Got how to find a job email on January 17th. Had called last week and they said Eligibility was met, medicals passed, and criminality is in progress.
