Is this something that CIC can verify? When I called them in January, they said they couldn't give me an update because they were processing photos as of beginning of December.

Not sure if we can check with CIC.. I am also on same boat..Not able to track whether my latest photos are received & approved. Got standard reply when connected through Web Form. Could you please confirm number/extension to connect with CIC. Will try.

I just called 888-242-2100, select 1, 1, 3 which will ask you to enter your PR card application number (starts with R) and yeah of birth, you will hear a status (which is the same as my CIC shows), then they will ask if you still want to speak with a representative.

I just called them the wait time was 17 minutes. They said they are processing photos received on January 1st and they can't tell me anything about my application because my photos were received on January 11th. Also the 41-day processing time is not applicable in cases when CIC asks you for additional documentation. Doesn't clear anything really. I guess if we don't hear back within next week-10 days, then we can call back to check what's happening. Hopefully it will be sorted out prior to that.

Created Web form yesterday ....received generic reply today (if you have been requested by case processing officer then submit...if you have done so....wait)

You should call them. If they are processing photos as of 01/01/2019 then they have to have an update about your application.

This is the standard timeline used by them you will receive your cards in 4-5 days , don't worry
