Hi sanode
When you apply for PGWP ,we need to select" study permit or work permit extension" and those who applied IN CANADA especially pgwp application, they no need to go for biometric as those were exemption temporarily until services were established inside canada...

Sorry i forgot to quote you, since we applied inside Canada. If they ask for biometrics, how are they going to send you the approval if you're outside. Since the current processing time is at 84 days, most visas are already expired by the time an officer gets to it.

Yes, the new rules are so confusing and conflicting. Let's hope everything goes well.

As you said, if we select "study permit or work permit extension", it says we don't have to give biometrics until the services are established in Canada which is good.

If you apply in Canada
You don’t have to give your biometrics until 2019, when the biometrics collection service is established in Canada.

There are a lot of people who have applied in January. I applied on January 23

I applied on Jan 09th ....It make take an other 4 weeks to get update
