I'd be willing to bet IP2 equaled criminality being complete and security starting in my application.

IP2 is when criminality is set to pass irrespective of whether security begins or not. There are a bunch of folks in June/July/Aug AORs with IP2 and security not started.

I'm not sure if "met" on eligiblity means just the R10 FSW "met" or something more substantial.

R10 is done by a program assistant. When they say eligibility met / recommended passed it generally means a case analyst evaluated all documents and made the recommendation as "met" or "recommended passed".

Your notes only show the R10 part and not case analyst notes.

Guys, does anyone has any idea of the average time needed to check criminality and security separately?

Also, in which stage verification is done, like work, education etc?

Today I see an update in Background check section saying they started processing. But Review of eligibility didn't change.

Review of eligibility - We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results - You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents - Not applicable.
Interview - You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics - We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

What does it mean? Am I in IP2 now?

YES ! U in IP2 , hold on tight u gettin there .

I guess its case to case basis, some friends of mine got the PPR in 118 days post AOR, i am not sure if the process still takes 120 days only or more if all the docs are in place. Patience is the name of the game and i certainly not v good at it.. lol

Yes, same happened to me. AOR is 19th December so my estimated completion is 19th June. It previously said 4 months, then changed to 18 weeks, a few days later it then changed to 17 weeks which is where i'm at now.

The bar is waste of time don't believe that .. It can be early too

Thanks for your kind advice. But someone told me that it’s matter of few days that ur file has been sent to delhi. Finger crossed to hear from them. That mean I am at ip2.

Not sure how you guys are calling but I called from hangout and it said "you don't have enough balance" Couldn't get through to IRCC.

Got off the phone with IRCC just now.
I had an interesting conversation. It was a test shot, lol since I'm just a 24 Dec AOR, so I am not expecting a PPR for the next 2 months.
She said eligibility is done first, and my account shows "We are reviewing whether you meet requirements".
She said it will happen sequentially, first eligibility, then security and criminality.
