How did you contact CIC? I tried to get them through Skype but I couldn’t contact agent. I heard only computerized message about my file

I called from India through Skype. Number is +16139444000. My application isn’t linked online so I’m not sure is that same or not

I tried to call directly through my cell phone. After some options the phone got disconnected automatically.

A friend of mine got “in process”after 12 months from AOR. She had to fill in a doc for updates and pay landing fees. No medical request yet. My AOR is Feb 2018 and her’s Jan 2018, mine is still “application received”...

I got mine after 11 months from AOR. However some got earlier as well. I have noticed that 2018 applicants are receiving their MR a lot sooner than the 2017 applicants.

That's bad to know. I applied on 11th Oct-2018 and received UCI on 24 Dec 2018. Still 'Application Received'.

On the other hand, seen people getting medical request 65 days after getting UCI..

Yes, some gets it but it stays pending till approximately 1 year . Outland applicant

When you say pending, do you mean that people get medical request, and still the ECAS says 'Application Received'? Sorry, couldn't understand your response.

What is your observation with regards to the timeframe between MP and DM since past 1 year now. I have MP June 18 and still no DM. Could there be an issue with my background check which is in progress.

Dear Patience, I think possibly due to CSIS clearance not received or stuck. Either way both needs to be followed by the VO to them but I think they don't and hence the delay.

I have the same situation , but they might extend the validity of the Medical Examination.
