I spoke to an agent, probably after a month maybe. Updated status is :
1. Eligibility : Met (This must change to pass in general)
2. Security : Not started (Not sure when this will start)
3. Criminality : Passed
4. Office : CIO Sydney NS
AOR : Nov 12th
MEP : Dec 12th
IP1 : Dec 13th
IP2 : Jan 18th
Misc : FSW-Outland (Single)
I doubt it. I think 2 ghost updates are eligibility and securitypassed/approved. I believe criminality and security are parts of the background check. Although, it's just a guess.
My logic is each application is assessed on 3 dimensions:
Are you qualified to immigrate? (eligibility)
Are you healthy? (medical)
Are you safe? (criminality, security, background).
So, when you pass each dimension, you get a ghost update. I could be wrong.

Only thing I am concerned about is eligibility really and don't want to hassle and tie up time by calling.
One thing I will say, there is absolutely no reason why they shouldn't update the stages on the website to stop people feeling like they need to call. I see lots of people saying that when they call they get told eligibility is met. All they need to do is update and it saves all those calls.

I also faced the same. After 2 days of my biometric my bg status changed from ip2 to ip1. Was tensed first later realised many faced the same thing. One Nigerian applicant faced the same. 7 days before his por his bg again moved to ip2 from ip1.
