Next time you call, just say to the agent "I think my application is approved - is it true?"

Taking clue from discussions in this forum, I raised the CSE using web form yesterday. I got the reply immediately.

The reply is "Pleased to inform you that everything is in order with your application.

All the required documents and information have been received by New Delhi Visa Office at the moment.

Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as decision is made or it additional information is needed. "

My AOR is of Nov 5, MEP on Dec 6, In IP1 since Dec 7. Paid RPRF upfront. How to find job update on Dec 20. No update since then.

What stage really is it if it's in NDVO.

You can ask your bank to extend the fix deposit before it matures and then raise a CSE to inform IRCC about this.

the fact that apparently they don't even send out ADRs until the 5th or 6th month.

Montreal is no longer unique in this regard. there are plenty of cases even in Ottawa where ADRs haven't been sent for far too long. I have seen people posting cases in March / April threads figuring out something was amiss through GCMS notes after 9/10 months. Given that it would probably a good idea for everyone to order GCMS notes once around 4.5/5 month mark. Earlier 90 day mark was a good time to order GCMS notes. But given the general speeds have relatively slowed down for every VO 120-150 day mark is a good time to order notes.

If your application is received at New Delhi office then it must be almost in it’s last stage and you might receive your PPR mail soon

Not really. Applications are assigned between CIOs, CPCs and LVOs randomly to distribute workload, and that too at different stages. Not sure why people are so obsessed with finding out the visa office, gives no information about stage of application and expected processing times and its not like one can go down to the visa office and badger them
