People in the forum have mentioned about IRCC sending surveys to newcomers. I got such an email yesterday but the status of my PR card application is still Submitted. I don’t think these two are related. So far I haven’t seen the status change to Updated. Photos were requested in early December and delivered on Dec 13th. Still waiting ...

The survey is not necessarily related to PR Card Application

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is asking you about your settlement and labour market experiences in your first years in Canada, as an immigrant who was admitted as a permanent resident between January 1, 2015, and December 31, 2018.

It is in general for experience for becoming Canadian PR holder and the may be the overall process.

Photos Received - Dec 19th.
Pictures taken in Staples sent through Canada Post express post to PO Box address

Did not receive any email or notification

Unsure, how long it takes to receive the card in mail.

When you got ghost update?

I was able to link my account this morning only with status as Submitted and when i checked GCKey few mins before it was mentioned Approved. So, sometime today i guess

Strange...got ghost update day before yesterday > correspondence email today saying our application has been received an now I see approval for my wife and daughter but mine still says submitted. Any idea why mine hasnt been processed yet? At least glad that my family has been approved.

Just see gckey n got profile updated status. Bt there is lil confusion we r family of 3. Me n my wife got profile updated status bt my son who is 2 year old his profile still shows submitted. Any idea ?

I have the same issue. approved for my wife and daught but mine is still pending approval.
