So yesterday I called CIC ( 88 days post AOR) and the kind agent told me that criminality has passed and they were doing verifications regarding eligibility. My file is currently in Ottawa and she said that after that , my file will move to the local VO (which usually is Rome for my country) . Now, please I really need your opinion on 3 things:
1.How much time do you think it is needed for eligibility to be met or not met from the agent in Ottawa? (When is the best time to call again to get information regarding this matter?)
2.If eligibility is not met, will my file still move to VO or will I get the refusal letter?
3.When your file moves to VO do we get a ghost update or smth?Because she said that when your file will transfer to local VO you will get notified
Thank you for the quick replay.
Rome should be ok I think. My local VO would've been Vienna, and they are usually slow. All my previous applications there were processed like a day before their prescribed deadlines...

From what I read usually applications from all streams are processed at CIO in Sydney and Ottawa. From there they are distributed to different VOs to split the workload.
CEC applicants are usually processed within Canada and for FSW-O it is usually done at their nearest VO.

Hi all,
My aor: 16 November 2018
FSW-O India
Primary applicant + 2 dependants
Mep: 19 December 2018
No updates since then
I spoke to a CIC agent and he informed that application is in Ottawa but it hasn’t been transferred to the visa office yet. So shall I assume it is at CPC? How much time does it usually take for the file to be transferred to VO?
I know I need to be patient, but I can’t help being one.

Hi Brother, I'm living in UAE, and got to know that my VO is London, I was thinking it will be Abu Dhabi, I don't know how London works, they are fast or slow.

I am applying from India and when I checked with them last week my application is was actually transferred to CPC-Ottawa and they were verifying whether I meet eligibility.
So I am assuming once my eligibility is met they will probably transfer to one of the Indian VOs

A while ago I read that most of the applications from Middle East and Islamic countries are processed at Abu Dhabi. I am guessing in your case they may have transferred it to London due to backlogs in Abu Dhavi.
They will probably transfer it to Abu Dhabi at a later stage.
